Qualified and experienced teacher in 'Teaching english as a foreign language' with one year expereince in full time education overseas and an addtional three years as a private tutor.
Currently teaching students at KS3 and GCSE as a private tutor.
*Currently abroad so I will only be able to take lessons using skype and scribbler.
Tutoring experience
I tutor:
- Taught in state school up to Year 9
- English language till GCSE
- Familiar with primary and KS3 including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and IGCSE exam boards.
Approach to tutoring
I enjoy teaching and I want my students to have fun and essentially enjoy what they are learning while also focusing on exam technique.
To accomplish this I use a lot of differnt teaching styles which also include ICT lessons. This could include powerpoints, e-learning, dabbleboard exercises.
I want my students to feel less daunted when facing the subject matter and help students overcome exam anxiety, I am confident that personalised teaching and learning style would ease that.
