Tutoring experience
I have undertaken voluntary work experience in primary and secondary schools, observing and aiding in reading and writing classes.
Approach to tutoring
Upon being selected as your child's tutor, I will request a clear outline of their current curricula. I will send a plan detailing what each lesson will entail; this should be discussed by parent(s) and child and negotiated/agreed upon with me before lessons begin. I aim to instil in your child a sense of appreciation for the English language, without being prescriptive, and enhance their understanding of how English works.
