Mrs Anne-Marie Coombes
I am a caring and compassionate person who understands the challenges to learning. I believe in a individualised approach and I really enjoy making a difference. I have three children with SEN myself and have a range of personal and professional experience of SEN. I have a range of qualifications and I've received numerous training. I have also been a carer for most of my life. I am happy to provide references, Diplomas/certificates and DBS upon request.

Tutoring experience
I have personal experience of SEN and disabilities; I have worked in mainstream and independent schools. I am currently working as a private SEN tutor. I have a range of SEN experience and I have good knowledge/experience of PDA. I am registered with the update service for my DBS'.
Approach to tutoring
Individualised approach with a good understanding of any difficulties/barriers to learning. I understand the reasons for bad behaviour and that behaviour is a form of communication. It is important to be constantly assessing and to build a good relationship with families while showing all students the respect that I would expect.
