I am currently working in a high school as a Maths Intervention worker. I work with ages 11-16 and all levels of ability. Primarily I work one to one with children focussing on their misconceptions in Maths in order for them to be able to overcome this and move onto another topic. I believe that one to one maths helps children to excel and grow at Maths because it gives them the confidence to work on more challenging topics. I also work in Maths classes assisting children with their day to day work. Along side this I am studying a degree in Mathematics in order to become a Mathematics teacher.
