I am an experienced teacher and an award-winning trainer and have worked in both the public and private sectors.
I taught maths and physics at high school level for several years and currently lead a team responsible for creating digital learning content used globally by over 100,000 learners.
I have a passion for learning and inspiring people to do their best.
Tutoring experience
I have 14 years experience working as a classroom teacher, trainer, and online resource creator.
I have taught at every level from KS2 to A-Level, with most of my experience in the 16-18-year-old age group.
I have tutored students one-to-one and in small groups.
As a Latymer alumni, I have first hand experience taking the entrance exam.
Approach to tutoring
Learning takes time and can be a struggle at times. Struggling isn't a bad thing - it can actually aid long-term retention.
I have a flexible approach to tutoring, centring on the needs of each student. This could mean focusing on strengthening specific areas of the curriculum, general revision or on exam technique.
Written feedback is provided after each session and progress is tracked over time.
I can offer tuition online as well as face to face.
