I am a GTCS registered teacher based in East Renfrewshire and the West End of Glasgow. I am passionate about mathematics and engineering. I tutor from 4-10pm Monday to Thursday and I can be available at weekends closer to exam season. I specialise in tutoring National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher and Engineering Mathematics 1-5. Outside of work I am a football fan and I enjoy both watching and playing.

Tutoring experience
I currently deliver National 5 and Higher Mathematics, previously I have delivered Advanced Higher Mathematics. I have been teaching for 5 years and tutoring for over a decade. I am also an external verifier and marker for the SQA. Understanding how the SQA develops and marks exams is key to getting the best grade possible.
Approach to tutoring
I tutor for understanding and I try and relate maths to real life situations. Past exam practice is key and I make sure that all learners have access to past papers from the last 30 years. I am always contactable by email so that students can send me questions and queries at any point during the week.
