I am a graduate Medical student at St George’s University of London with First-Class Honours in Biomedical Science who can help you strive for greatness without sacrificing your mental well-being.

As a neurodivergent student who took the long way around to medicine, I have a unique outlook on what “success” means. Good grades help get you to the next step, but building skills for lifelong learning and problem-solving makes the next step easier.

I believe I can help you be the best student you can be without sacrificing the person you are. Studying efficiently gives you more time to relax and enjoy life which in turn helps your brain lock all that new information in. I also provide study coaching, tips on time and stress management, proofreading, and personal statement advice with a focus on Medicine applications.

My CV is available on Linked In and I am happy to answer any questions.

Tutoring experience

I have a background in teaching through my role as Lead Educator for a first aid society where I designed resources and delivered sessions for groups ranging from 10 to 30 individuals, providing 1-3 support before assessments. I also organised study groups during both degrees, exploring the pedagogy behind learning to drive results.

I have previously tutored informally for science topics and study skill.
I provide proofreading and essay support.

Approach to tutoring

I am patient and have experience with breaking down complex topics into everyday analogies for a range of people. I use various learning techniques, questions and styles to actively guide you to find an answer and justify your reasoning. But sometimes things just need memorising- let’s find fun ways to do that together!
