I am a qualified teacher and the mother of 2 wonderful children, who enjoys teaching languages and trying to make the process of learning as enjoyable as possible for my students. I offer French (all levels and preparation of A-levels, IB, GCSEs ), Spanish (beginner and intermediate level, up to GCSE), Romanian and English as a foreign language( for Romanian students, for example).
Tutoring experience
I learnt French while being an au-pair for a French family and during the time spent in France as a student.
I started teaching as a primary school and nursery teacher and went on to teach languages in secondary schools later.
I am familiar with all exam specifications and devoted to help my students improve their grades.
Approach to tutoring
I try to structure my tutoring sessions in a tailored programme according to the individual needs. During the sessions I try to choose the best strategies that I find suitable for the age and ability of my students. My approach is always determined by a thorough assessment of my student's needs and then by agreeing upon several realistic targets to be achieved.
I hope that my sessions provide extra confidence and motivation in studying the subjects, the kind of positive learning experiences that students sometimes need to improve their confidence and enhance their natural ability
